'Piggy-back version': once all cable ducts are filled with cable, it is effortlessly possible to add even more 'baseboard storeys' thanks to the special section form.
'Back-to-back technique': closed ducts for protecting cables are not only created using cable duct covers but also using normal baseboards. The carriers are simply mounted underside to underside and the baseboards back-to-back.
To shorten or miter-cut the baseboards, it is best to use the alfer® MP 9 precision miter box (item no. 41122) with pre-chamfered 45º and 90º miter cuts.
Aluminium and plastic profiles are generally very easy to process and work with. In contrast, stainless steel is not so easy to trim or to miter-cut without professional experience and proper tools. It is recommended that the appropriate cabelino® accessories such as outside corners, inside corners, covers, and connectors are used. Generally, however, the following applies: when sawing, it is recommended to put a drop of oil on the saw blade, so that the aluminium cuttings do not lodge between the teeth of the saw blade. Plastic is always worked dry. If necessary, the parts should be immobilized with screw clamps or a screw clamp. For safety reasons wear safety glasses.
In contrast to the plastic and aluminium profiles, stainless steel and alunox profiles are not fastened in the top snap-in slot but inserted into the rear clamp slot.
